The Adelaide River Show Society and Caravan Park is run by the local show society. It is a voluntary organisation dedicated to the promotion and encouragement of cultural, sporting, recreational and social activities in this region. The precinct is also close to the many other tourist attractions in the area including the iconic Litchfield National Park. It is also close to the surrounding towns of Batchelor and Lake Bennett making it an ideal place to stay while discovering all the region has to offer.
The Adelaide River Show Society is well know for hosting 3 major events each year. The ANZAC Day “Gunfire” Breakfast in April and the Adelaide River Races and the Adelaide River Show in June.
They run their own caravan park, however, due to it’s popularity they don’t take bookings so you will need to call and check site availability before you arrive.
The showgrounds are located 1km from the Adealide River Township.
