Childers

Childers is located on the Bruce Highway 325 kilometres north of the Queensland state capital, Brisbane. It is in the Bundaberg Region of the Wide Bay-Burnett area of Queensland and lies 52 kilometres south west of the major town of the region, Bundaberg.

Charming and full of history, Childers has beautiful leafy streets and a scenic outlook over the surrounding countryside. The Queensland Heritage Register lists many of the historically significant buildings in the main street.
